When a real emergency unfolds, there is no pause button for providers to practice. That is why Simulation in Motion – Montana (SIM‑MT) brings high‑fidelity, hands‑on training directly to rural hospitals and EMS teams, helping them rehearse rare, high‑stakes scenarios in a safe learning environment before they encounter them with real patients.

Recently, Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County hosted a two‑day emergency simulation event where more than 50 emergency workers trained side‑by‑side using a blinking, breathing, talking manikin capable of displaying vital signs and realistic physical responses. Supported by a statewide partnership focused on highly infectious disease response and respiratory illness scenarios, this training helped teams strengthen communication, teamwork, and decision‑making while building a regional plan for responding to infectious disease crises.
